Sarah Pannell is an Australian documentary photographer based in Melbourne. Her work explores landscape, culture, tradition and community, both in Australia and further afield, and looks at how places are marked by history and fast modernisation. Her first book, 'Tabriz to Shiraz', was photographed while couch surfing across Iran and offers a view of everyday life in the country. Her work was shown in GPP's community exhibition No Place Like Home in 2018.
