Sandra Catarina Ferreira is a French-Portuguese photographer living in Dubai. She grew up in Paris, where she studied interior design, and turned to photography as a way to take a new perspective on her surroundings. Emptiness, silence and construction sites recur in her work, which she approaches in an intuitive, almost meditative way through what she calls her photographic wanderings. The constant work-in-progress state of Dubai is a main source for her ongoing projects. She took part in GPP's No Place Like Home (2018) and From the Archive (2019) exhibitions, and her work is part of GPP Editions.
