Lauren Grabelle is a photographer based in Montana, USA. Her series 'Montana Noir', shown in GPP's 2018 community exhibition No Place Like Home, began in 2017 when she started wandering Montana's lesser-known towns after dark, out to the edges where ambient light fades to near darkness. Working in the corners, alleys and streets where just enough light mixes with shadow, she describes the nighttime streets of Montana as the place where her own inner landscape finally feels at home.
