Matte (Anti-Glare) Glass
Matte Glass has an etched surface that scatters reflected light, eliminating the mirror-effect from lamps, windows, or overhead fixtures. The trade-off: a very slight softness in print detail, most noticeable on glossy and pearl papers, less so on matte and fine-art papers.
Use Matte Glass for prints hung in high-glare rooms — open-plan offices, retail spaces, kitchens. For galleries that need both detail and zero-glare, step up to anti-reflective museum glass (by request).
Best for
- High-glare environments (kitchens, lobbies, offices)
- Open-plan retail
- Prints on matte or fine-art papers (no detail loss)
