Stained Wood is a richer alternative to Wood with Grain — same underlying timber, but the stain is applied more heavily so the wood reads as a unified deep tone rather than a grainy textured one. Four finishes from dark brown through black-stained — all warm, all understated.

Often the right call for printed works on warm-toned papers (Photo Rag 308, German Etching) where you want the frame to extend the warmth without competing.
