Hahnemühle Rice Paper 100gsm is an exceptional paper that opens up possibilities no other substrate in GPP's range can. At 100gsm with 85% opacity, it's semi-translucent — light passes through it, which allows for layering effects, window display printing, and a delicate, painterly quality that heavier papers can't offer. It's the paper to reach for when you want something genuinely unusual.

Made from 100% alpha-cellulose with a classic laid structure, Rice Paper has a warm, organic feel and a fine texture that renders soft, almost watercolour-like results. It's OBA-free and acid-free, making it more archivally stable than its light weight might suggest. The matte surface absorbs pigment ink evenly, producing clean colour and tonal reproduction while preserving the paper's translucent character.
