Hahnemühle Photo Rag® Ultra Smooth 305gsm is the most refined surface in the Photo Rag family — 100% cotton at 305gsm, but engineered for a strikingly smooth, almost silky feel that sets it apart from the standard Photo Rag. The ultra-fine surface texture allows the inkjet coating to render extraordinary colour depth, very deep blacks, and exceptional fine detail. Where Photo Rag gives you the classic warm cotton feel, Ultra Smooth adds precision.

At 94% whiteness, it sits slightly brighter than the standard Photo Rag while remaining fully OBA-free and true-neutral. The acid- and lignin-free construction meets ISO 9706 museum archival standards, and the calcium carbonate buffer protects against acid degradation. Prints feel premium in the hand and hold their qualities for generations.
