Hahnemühle Photo Rag® Baryta 315gsm is the bridge between the darkroom and the digital press. Built on 100% cotton at 315gsm, it carries a barium-sulphate-enhanced high-gloss coating that mimics the look and weight of a traditional analogue baryta silver paper — the kind used for exhibition-quality darkroom prints for the past century. The result is a paper that feels like a serious photographic print rather than just an inkjet output.

The natural warm-white base contains no optical brighteners, giving photographs the same subtle warmth as silver gelatin prints. The barium sulphate in the coating enhances density, colour gamut, and sharpness — shadows go very deep, highlights remain clean and specular, and fine detail renders with a crispness that other cotton papers don't reach. It's acid- and lignin-free, calcium carbonate buffered, and built for archival permanence.
