Hahnemühle Photo Rag® 308gsm is the studio standard — a 100% cotton fine art paper that has been the reference point for museum-quality giclée printing for decades. Smooth, matte, and substantial at 308gsm, it reproduces colour and shadow with a richness that resin-coated and alpha-cellulose papers simply can't match. If you've seen a print hung in a serious gallery and wondered what paper that was, it was probably this.

Made from pure cotton rag with no optical brighteners, Photo Rag carries a warm natural white that gives depth to neutral and warm-toned photographs. The acid- and lignin-free construction meets ISO 9706 archival standards, meaning prints will remain stable for generations under normal conditions. Calcium carbonate buffering protects against environmental acid degradation over time.

At GPP we print Photo Rag 308 on our large-format Epson printers using pigment inks, producing results with deep blacks, clean highlights, and exceptional mid-tone separation.
