Ali received a Diploma in Multimedia from the University College of Applied Sciences in 2010, enriching his skill set and his ability to tell compelling stories through various media formats. In recognition of his exceptional talent and dedication, Ali has been honoured with several prestigious awards, including the Best Photo award from Anadolu News Agency and the government media office in 2014. He has also received recognition from the Sharjah Photo Contest, the DOHA Center for Media Freedom for his Humanity story, The Independent Commission for Human Rights (ICHR) for his contribution to human rights documentation, and Arab Camera 48 for his portrayal of the Ramadan Holy month. Additionally, Ali's poignant depiction of the Gaza war in 2024 earned him the Best Photo award from Anadolu Agency.
Despite facing personal tragedies, including the loss of his family and home during the Israeli field operation in Gaza in 2023, Ali remains unwavering in his dedication to bearing witness to the realities of life in Gaza and Palestine.
