Join us for the closing party of the major analog exhibition, 'Chemistry of Feeling' on 8 September 2021. Watch the live critique session, have your portrait taken, grab a chai and enjoy our 90's Hip Hop playlist while catching up with other analog photographers. The community exhibition is the largest to ever take place at Gulf Photo Plus and features nearly 100 images submitted to our annual community show open call. The exhibition also features images from the region's analog communities, The Darkroom Cairo, Darkroom Amman, and Sirkhane Darkroom, whose mission is to provide refugee children residing in Turkey more cultural opportunities, and access to creative and visual education in photography.
Feel free to join the audience on the night as we support each other’s work through constructive feedback. The live critique session will be hosted by GPP's Benjamin Kirby. Anyone can submit, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for the chance to have your image critiqued. You will also get the chance to take home a 'Chemistry of Feeling' tote bag and a portrait image taken on Fujifilm's Intax Wide film.
This event is free to attend and open to all; however, there is a limited capacity to ensure our community's safety. Registration is encouraged. See you all there!
