I've always been drawn to hand-painted murals around the UAE, ever since I was young. Back then, they appeared quite frequently throughout my neighborhood in Sharjah - over the years, they've gotten harder to find.
I found this particular mural in Fujairah along the east coast of the United Arab Emirates. Looking at the wall and coming back to this photo now, I wonder about the person who painted this - if this is, perhaps an imagined landscape, or a piece of home they brought with them.
