Notions such as the militarization of sound, the somatic connection to land, tattoos adorning bodies, and dissident archiving as a resistant practice emerge. The visual and photographic elements of this magazine traverse between Myriam Boulos’s striking scenes of Beirut’s uprising in 2019, haunting stills from Palestinian artist Noor Abed’s films, and digital archives found in the work of Amad Ansari’s Palestine Online.
