GPP Photo Week 2019 Scholarship for Tanya Habjouqa Workshop

Gulf Photo Plus (GPP) are offering a scholarship to emerging photographers and artists from the MENA, SouthEast Asia and Africa region for a space in Tanya Habjouqa's documentary photography workshop at GPP Photo Week 2019.

The idea behind this scholarship is to provide the education, mentorship and an opportunity to connect with like minded photographers and artists to young, emerging photographers in the regions that have limited opportunities for a workshop like this.

Preference is given to applicants who have a body of work in progress or an idea for a strong and compelling project related to the social issues of our region.

The deadline for the application is December 15, 2018 - NOW EXTENDED TO Jan 8, 2019. Tanya along with GPP will review the applicants' submissions and will notify the successful applicant by December 31st.

Applicants will need to pay for their own travel, visa (if required), accommodation and expenses in Dubai. The course will be provided free of charge along with a full day pass to the GPP Photo Friday event.
