Today at Apple - Photo Walk

As part of Apple’s Typography Series and in partnership with GPP, Today at Apple is hosting a one of a kind session in Al Quoz with Hussain Al Moosawi.

Do you see Al Quoz only as an industrial area? If so, think twice. Its proximity to Sheikh Zayed Road makes it a retail hub, while the array of its inhabitants make it urbanely detailed and humane. This mixture reflects on the area’s visual identity – and typography is not an exception.

During this photowalk you’ll get an insight into the various types of signage and stroll through Al Quoz looking for different examples. While doing so, you will explore the various possibiltles of how to photograph typography in the urban environment.
