Sony World Photography Awards

This exhibition features winning, shortlisted, and commended images from the 2016 and 2017 editions of the Sony World Photography Awards.

Free to enter and open to all photographers, the Sony World Photography Awards are an authoritative voice in the photography industry, with the power to shape the careers of the photographers who win or distinguish themselves through the Awards.

Each year a total prize fund of $30,000 (USD) plus the latest Sony digital imaging equipment is shared between winning photographers. These photographers are then taken on a year-long journey during which they are given the opportunity to present their work internationally and gain global exposure. The hugely popular Sony World Photography Awards Exhibition, featuring a selection of winning, shortlisted, and commended images, is curated at the prestigious Somerset House, London each spring.
