Roots of the Union
To celebrate the 40th National Day of the United Arab Emirates and as part the Union Exhibition, Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH) organizes Union Roots Exhibition during December 2011 in the UAE Pavilion – Saadiyat Island. The exhibition is open daily from 12 pm until 10 pm.
The Union Roots Exhibition is displaying 67 rare photographs by Ronald Codrai that reflect the history and life of the Trucial States in the 1940s and 1950s. Featured at the Exhibition will be photographs to be seen for the first time of markets, life on land and sea, and lifestyles as well as trials and tribulations at the time.
