GPP Talks with Daniel Donnelly | Talking Photobooks

To parallel The Photobook Show, which will be on exhibit at GPP from April 16th to August 31st, we will also host a series of talks reflecting upon various aspects of the photobook phenomenon.

In our second discussion of the series, we welcome guest speaker Daniel Donnelly to explore the motivations that have compelled contemporary photographers to turn to photobooks as an ideal method by which to disseminate their work. Having spearheaded photobook clubs in Morocco and Bahrain, Daniel is well-placed to speak about photobooks from the region, examining different approaches taken by photographers in the Middle East and the impact that can be felt from this work.

Having produced his own photobook, Daniel will also share his insight on the process of photobook making - from zines to hardcover publications.

The talk is free to attend but registration is required.
