Indelible Marks

Twin brothers Hasan and Husain Essop present their first exhibition of twenty works, reflecting upon their experience of living in Cape Town.  Focusing on the feeling of “otherness” these works discuss issues of  religion and identity arising from the perspective of living a Muslim life within South Africa.  Influenced by the style of Hollywood, each photograph tells a story of the ongoing conflicts of culture and belief.
