Who should take this workshop?
This course is suitable for you if you have taken Digital Photography – Level 1 (or an equivalent course) and are ready to take your photography to the next level.
You should already have a thorough understanding of ISO, aperture, and shutter speed, and how all of these relate to each other to achieve a creatively correct exposure. If you are not familiar with these terms or currently shoot in Auto or P mode, you should consider attending the Level 1 course first.
Don't have a DSLR yet? No problem! We have a limited number of Nikon D5300’s available to loan free of charge during your workshop - just ask us! (Loan Cameras courtesy of Nikon MEA. Loan cameras must be arranged before your workshop. Call us on 043808545 or email firstname.lastname@example.org). More info here.
Please Note: Our classes are open to ANY brand of camera: Canon, Nikon, Sony, Panasonic, Fuji and any other intermediate to advanced cameras (As long as they have manual controls i.e. NOT point-and-shoot cameras) are welcome!
What will you learn?
The aim of the Level 2 course is to move you from a confident “snapper” to a real “photographer”, armed with the artistic and technical understanding to enable you to produce beautiful, compelling images. We will introduce you to a host of advanced composition techniques and aim to have you shooting in full manual mode by the end of the course. Equal parts technical and artistic; we will help you unleash your inner photographer and artist.
This 8-hour photography class covers some of the advanced features of your camera, as well as advanced shooting techniques allowing you complete creative control.
