Ramadan | Old Dubai Iftar Walk

Appreciate the humble spirit of Ramadan in a neighborhood rich with mosques, break the fast with locals, and be part of the community with the foodies from Frying Pan Adventures.

What's Covered

During Ramadan, the usually-cacophonous streets of Old Dubai fall eerily silent just before sunset. Workers and neighbors gather on chaddars and blankets, lining the sprawling asphalt roads as all ears tune in to the local mosque. Everything, from businesses to traffic, grinds to a halt as people gather in preparation of breaking the fast, creating a stunning tableau right as the sun slips beyond the horizon and the Adhan, or call to prayer, reverberates through the sky.

Join the community for a swift Iftar and a cup of piping hot chai before the streets erupt into a vibrant neighborhood once again, filled with buzzing crowds and fleeting photo opportunities. With satisfied appetites and cameras brimming with captured moments, we will reflect on our favorite moments of the evening as we bring the Trail to a close.
