Join us for a culturally immersive, nature photowalk in the Warehouse421 neighbourhood, which covers how to photograph subjects and transmit the feeling and the narrative of wild and domesticated plants.  

What's Covered

Join us for a culturally immersive, nature photo walk in the Warehouse421 neighborhood on 29 October. Titled ‘Routes of Mina Zayed’, this workshop provides a combination of theoretical training and hands-on practice. Attendees will learn the etiquette of street photography, which covers how to photograph subjects and transmit the feeling and the narrative of wild and domesticated plants. 


The photowalk will start in Mina Zayed, at the fruit and vegetable market. Participants will travel through the plant souq and explore the natural flora around the abandoned warehouses. Attendees will apply the theories learnt to capture images of subjects and their environment. 


At the end of the course, participants will walk away with a much better understanding of Abu Dhabi’s environment and Mina Zayed as a center for learning about food sources and flora, found near and far. 


The bus ride takes 5 minutes from Warehouse421 to the Fruit & Vegetable Market in Mina Zayed.

Participants will gather at the Warehouse 421 location. It is important that all participants show up to the Mina Zayed location approximately 15 minutes before the start of the workshop.

Cancellation Policy
  • If you cancel your photo walk a minimum of 7 days in advance of your photo walk, you will be issued a 90% refund or may be rescheduled to another date(s).
  • If you cancel your photo walk a minimum of 5 days in advance of your photo walk, no refund will be issued but you may be rescheduled to another date(s).
  • If you cancel your photo walk less than 5 days in advance of your photo walk, no refund and no reschedule is possible.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • Photo walks can be rescheduled within 1 month of the original booking and within the same photo walk type, only if there is availability on the new date requested. 
  • Bookings can only be transferred ONCE. If you transfer your photo walk booking and later wish to cancel it, we will not be able to refund or reschedule you under any circumstances. 
  • You must be 18 or older to attend this photo walk. If you are younger than 18 or booking for someone under 18 years of age, please contact us first and we will be happy to advise you.
