THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS GOVERN YOUR PURCHASE OF A POPUP GPP BERLIN EVENT TICKET AND ATTENDING IT. BY PURCHASING A TICKET TO THE NAMED EVENT YOU ACCEPT AND AGREE TO BE LEGALLY BOUND BY THESE TERMS.
The terms used in these Standard Terms and Conditions for Event Participation have the following meanings:
1.1 Gulf Photo Plus LLC (a Dubai based limited liability company), which operates from its office in Alserkal Avenue, Unit D36, Al Quoz, Dubai, UAE, is the Organiser of the PopUP GPP Berlin event and shall be referred to hereafter as the ‘Organiser’.
1.2 PopUP GPP Berlin, held on October 29th & 30th, 2016 at Kino Babylon Rosa-Luxemburg-Straße 30, Mitte, 10178 Berlin, Germany, shall be referred to hereafter as the ‘Event’.
1.3 Participant: each natural or legal person who purchases a Ticket to the Event and anyone who attends the Event.
1.4 Ticket Price: the costs payable by the Participant to the Organiser and comprising full access to the Event.
All participants must purchase event tickets prior to arrival at the seminar venue. Participants are also advised to have a copy of their payment confirmation either in print or on their smart phones/tablets when going to the registration desk as they will be requested to show proof of the payment on their arrival.
3. Cancellation Policy
Registration cancellations must be notified in writing by email to the Organiser (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Cancellations received on or before September 29th, 2016 (11:59pm Dubai time), will receive a refund of Ticket Price less an administration charge of 20% of the event fee. Cancellations made after, as well as 'no shows', are non-refundable.
Participants must make sure they receive an acknowledgement of their cancellation from the Organiser. Only this will confirm that their request has been received and processed.
4. Liability & Force Majeure
The Organiser reserves the right to amend any part of the Event programme if necessary at any time.
The Organiser will not accept liability for damages of any nature sustained by Participants or accompanying persons, or loss of, or damage to their personal property as a result of the seminars or related events.
The Organiser accepts bookings on the understanding that if it cannot meet its obligations because of circumstances beyond its control, it will not be held liable for loss suffered either by the body making the booking or any other third party.
The Organiser will not be liable to Participants or be in breach of contract by reason of delay or failure to deliver the seminar if the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond its reasonable control.
If it is required to cancel the Event or reschedule the date of the Event for any reason, the Organiser will fully refund Participants in respect of the Ticket Price.
5. Personal Insurance
The Organiser cannot be responsible for healthcare, dental and ambulance services during its events. The Organiser strongly recommends that Participants take out comprehensive medical and travel insurance, which should cover the possibility of flight cancellation due to strikes and other causes. Therefore, the Organiser and its local partners accept no responsibility of any nature whatsoever for personal injury, death, loss or damage to property or participants however caused or arising.
