Elements of a Fashion Shoot
What goes into a fashion shoot? Learn the essentials with fashion photographer Ruta Jurkuvenaite as she demonstrates with a live model and studio lighting gear before giving participants the opportunity to photograph. The workshop will close with a brief time of Q&A.
If you do not yet own a camera, we are happy to lend you a Sony a6300 to use during your session, free of charge! Please note that loan camera numbers are limited and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please email us at email@example.com to reserve your camera.
What to bring with you:
- Mirrorless or DSLR camera with fully charged battery
- SD card
- Copy of your favorite photograph that you have taken (a printed copy is preferred, and please come prepared to share why it is your favorite)
- Notebook and pen recommended
About the Instructor
Professional photographer and co-founder of Capture DXB, originally from a small country located in Northern Europe - Lithuania, currently living and working in Dubai, UAE.
Photography has always been Ruta's biggest passion. While studying at University, she began freelancing as a photographer, shooting fashion portraits, weddings and events for 4 years. Later, in 2013, she decided to move to Dubai to explore the region, and further her career in photography.
Since then Ruta has fallen in love with fashion photography, and is always thriving to push the boundaries of experimentation, often combining art with fashion. Her preferred styles are minimalistic, and experimental editorial.
