An excellent question! Every workshop at GPP2016 has its own detailed listing page, where we have specified the recommended skill and experience level for that particular workshop.
If you are still unsure after reading the breakdown for the workshop you are considering, just give us a call or email us. We’ll be happy to help advise you!
Good question! A workshop is an intensive, hands-on session where you will benefit from a small group setting designed to allow for carefully crafted, personalized time with your instructor. Class sizes may be as small as 10 and are never more than 16.
A seminar, on the other hand, is a condensed theoretical session where the instructor covers one of any number of topics including composition, post-production, business management and more. Some seminars may involve live shoots, but attendees won’t use their cameras during a seminar. As a result, they are a time-efficient and affordable way to delve into the theory of a particular subject!
If you book before Dec 26th, 2015, midnight UAE time, you will be entitled to an Early Bird treat, 10% of your workshops value to spend at the GPP Store.
You can claim that discount between January 6th and February 12th 2016, by visiting the GPP store. We will have a record of your booking and your treat value; all you have to do is choose.
Please note that you'll need to redeem the entire treat amount at one go.
If you are a group, photo club or university students association, email us and we'll try and help you the best we can.
Sit tight! Closer to the workshop date, we will send you a reminder email along with any notes from your instructor(s) and a list of instructions regarding what gear to bring.
The Headquarters for GPP2016 is the Dubai Knowledge Village Conference Center. Click here for the map.
If you have signed up for an on-location workshop, you will still need to come to the Knowledge Village Conference Center to register for your workshop. Transportation may be provided for your workshop, but in special cases you will receive detailed instructions about where to meet and how to get there.
We love certificates as much as you do! Every workshop student will be handed a certificate of completion personally signed by their workshop instructor at the conclusion of his/her workshop.
Only if you want them to love you forever.
You can go to the GIFT VOUCHERS page on our website and select a monetary amount for your gift voucher, or you can get in contact with us for advice on which workshop will make the perfect gift for someone special.
Absolutely! We understand that life is busy and always unexpected.
