Layer Masks is still a topic that confuses Photoshop users. In this 2-hour seminar RC will go over the process of using Layer Masks from start to finish. We will use Layer masks for color correcting images, working on photographic tone, repair images, and setup the essentials of compositing. We'll also talk about how selection tools and Paths can play a part in making the most precise masks possible.
Who Should Attend
You are familiar with aperture, shutter, ISO and understand how these work together to create a correct exposure. You shoot in Aperture or Shutter Priority modes and can use the basic features on your digital camera confidently.
You have a basic understanding of the basic image adjustment features of Photoshop and can apply basicenhancements to your work (i.e. saturation, contrast, brithness..etc).
You are looking to consolidate your understanding, increase your repertoire of tools and learn some more creative techniques.
What you should bring
Your laptop loaded with Photoshop or a trial version of it (Please click here for a link to the trialbut make sure you don't download it too early as it only lasts for 30 days)
To take part in this seminar you need to have taken GPP'sIntroduction to Adobe Photoshop or equivalent knowledge. Please note that the instructor will not be able to give you personal attention, if you are not at the right level for this class.
