Martin Prihoda is a Canadian born advertising and portraiture photographer living and working in Mumbai. He is a regular contributor to Vogue, GQ, Harper’s Bazaar and Elle and maintains a growing advertising client base both in India and internationally.

Known for his advanced lighting techniques, Martin also teaches a workshop series entitled “Big Lights Far Away,” the purpose of which is to help students take their lighting skills from a advanced amateur level, to a professional one.

Martin also works with the international NGO Childreach and is currently developing photographic projects with them in India, Nepal, Pakistan and Tanzania.

Using principles from a Yogic tradition, Martin’s beliefs are rooted in the principles of Self Empowerment, Confidence, Focus and Vision. He believes these values are at the core of his success as an artist and seeks to impart the same to his students.
