Introduction to Natural Light Portraiture

Make your portraits stand out as you learn to use, manipulate, and enhance natural light to create dynamic photos in this beginner’s lighting workshop.

In this workshop, you will gain an understanding of how to work with and control natural light (from soft window light to open shade and direct sunlight) in order to locate the best light for your portraits subjects.

The workshop has a strong focus on how to deal with the difficulties of shooting in harsh, midday light through the use of reflectors to soften, diffuse, or block the sun. The workshop focuses on shooting individuals and small groups.

Note: This is a seasonal workshop and does not run during the summer months.
