Join award-winning commercial and corporate photographer, Catalin Marin (check out his website www.momentaryawe.com), as he shares his technical and aesthetic secrets to create stunning night photography.

Following a short briefing session at GPP HQ – covering both the technical and aesthetic skills you'll need for this workshop – we'll head out on location in Dubai. During this practical shooting session, we will concentrate on how to create unique and compelling photographs images. This workshop will focus on capturing that all important blue hour from the time after the sun goes down going all the way until complete darkness.

In this hands-on workshop you will learn how to create striking night images, how to best capture and balance the city lights against the dark skies, and experiment with long exposures and capture light trails from some great locations. You will not be disappointed with the images you make.

What to bring

• A tripod is a must for this workshop! 
• Your camera with battery fully charged
• Plenty of CF/SD card space

Who should attend

You should have a good understanding of your camera's exposure controls, be able to shoot comfortably in Aperture and Shutter priority modes, and may have some experience shooting with full Manual exposure.
