Studio Lighting – Level 1

If you have a good working knowledge of your DSLR camera, you’re comfortable with shooting in the Manual mode, but you’re completely new to studio lighting, this is the workshop for you!
 
This one-day intensive workshop will get you up to speed with studio lighting and you’ll get plenty of hands-on practice with professional studio equipment, all under the expert guidance of our experienced instructor.
 
You will learn all about studio equipment (using Profoto lighting gear) and how it works, technically and artistically. You’ll learn which modifiers do what, and how each is best used to achieve different lighting effects and patterns.
 
Finally we’ll give you the technical know-how to create simple but effective lighting set ups, then we move to the practical session where you put all of the theory in to practice. 
 
Prerequisites for this workshop:

It is essential that you have a good working knowledge of your DSLR and are comfortable with shooting in the Manual mode. It is ideal for those who have completed our Digital Photography – Level 1 and  Digital Photography – Level 2 workshops.  
 
What to bring:

·      Your DSLR (fully charged)
·      Some SD/CF cards
·      Bags of enthusiasm and creativity
