not as nicely composed as the the one on the grass. confusing background as well as both feet and an arm missing. maybe try zooming in and shoot a 3/4 portrait. maybe even a head shot, just to cut out that background. photographing kids is very fulfilling, when you get that 1 million dollar expression. be patient, time your shots correctly, keeping in mind, exposure, composition and those edges and corners.
