Mixed Media

Sara Lando | Photography - Confident Beginner

This class is the honey badger of workshops: it’s fearless, oblivious of what real photography is “supposed to be” and unstoppable.

Over the course of two delirious days, you’ll work with photography in a way that is unexpected, liberating and fun.

Using recycled materials, fabric, altered books, paint, glue, thread as well as photos and photo cut outs will enable you to explore your creativity using the box you'll be thinking outside of.

You will learn to alter reality while shooting and then completely deconstruct it while working on the final image.

Together we will find the method to the madness: during Day 1 we will work with diorama, building small worlds and then photographing them. On Day 2 we will focus on 2D modifications, printing on unconventional materials, collages and painting on photos.
