Storytelling & Compositing (WED & THRS)
Description
- Note - This class is limited to 12 students only
Brooke will start the first day with a presentation showing many before/after images and inviting a discussion on what works and why.
Following that, the group will brainstorm picture ideas, and Brooke will demonstrate various techniques.
The focus of this session will be on the creative process and will cover how to:
* Photograph digitally with INTENT!
* Use natural light
* Edit images together seamlessly
* Develop a story
* Create trick imagery
* Find inspiration and your style
In the afternoon, you will get the chance to apply what you've learnt and planned to create individual photographs for your personal portfolios.
On the second day, you will experience an underwater shoot. You will be able to shoot without getting into the pool although its recommended that you do to have better control.
The workshop will end with observing Brooke's live editing tutorial. Bringing laptops to follow along is encouraged. A tutorial video covering the editing process will also be given out.
One-on-one assistance will be provided during shooting and editing.
