Shoot the City is a hands-on workshop, designed to teach you the technical and creative skills you need in order to create technically excellent and aesthetically stunning images of Dubai.
Following a short briefing session - covering both the technical and aesthetic skills you'll need for this workshop - we'll head out to our first location: Business Bay. During this shoot we'll be concentrating on how to create unique and compelling images: images that convey both the scale and detail of this fascinating location and its architecture.
For our second shoot we'll be heading over to the Palm Jumeirah to shoot the sunset, twilight, and the beginning of night, and will concentrate on how to make the most of the available light and how to create images combining both ambient and artificial light.
For our final shoot, from the rooftop bar of the Four Points Sheraton hotel, we will work through a range of techniques you can use to create stunning night shots: how to photograph architecture an night, how to incorporate movement into your images, and how to capture and convey the magic of Dubai at night.
Please note that the all locations are subject to final confirmation. Since you will be visiting 3 different locations and hence will spend a considerable amount of time on the road, starting times are accurate but finish time might be slightly altered depending on the traffic situation.
