Join us for the UAE launch of Photobook Egypt and an exclusive book signing by Marwa Abou Leila (curator of Photobook Egypt), Mahmoud Khaled (creator of Stations), Karim El Hayawan (creator of Forgotten Rooms), and Yehia El Alaily (creator of Kitchen Memoirs).

Photobook Egypt is a series of seven photography books (narrated in Arabic and English) in which each book is dedicated to a theme or a project photographed and narrated by Egyptian and regional photographers (both emerging and established); the series has been curated and published by Photopia Cairo.

Books included in the series are: Forgotten RoomsHomemade, Kitchen Memoirs, Madad, MetroStations, and Tales of the White Mountain. The books are available as individuals and as a box set.

The team at Photopia Cairo says, “Our dream is to offer a non-digital platform to document extraordinary photography work and make it accessible and affordable to photography enthusiasts & collectors. It is an ongoing project of enjoyable and visually rich photography that proudly represents Egypt's and the region's prominent photographers. Collecting them would be like owning a small part of Egypt on your bookshelf.”
