Every photo tells its own story and 7 Days wants to hear yours.

The ‘My Summer Story’ competition’s concept is simple; take a photo of something that is important to you in the UAE this summer and then write about what you took and, most importantly, why.

Each week one lucky entrant will win a Digital Photography or Photoshop workshop with GPP, and at the end of the summer the overall winner will walk away with the grand prize of a FujiFilm XS-1 camera – worth Dhs2,999.

It’s easy to enter, just follow these steps:

1. Go to www.7daysindubai.com or www.7daysinabudhabi.com and log in. If you are not registered, you will need to sign up
2. On the home page, click on ‘Write an Article’
3. Write ‘My Summer Tale’ in the box marked ‘headline’
4. In the large box, tell the story behind your photo in 200 words or less
5. Click ‘Save Story’ and then select ‘Opinion’ and then ‘My Summer Story’
6. Finally upload your photo (max size 3MB) using the ‘Add Picture’ function

The competition is now open and the weekly winners will be revealed each Thursday in 7DAYS and online at 7DAYSinDubai.com and 7DAYSinAbuDhabi.com.

At the end of the summer, the overall champion will be announced.
