Here are a few ideas to get your creative juices flowing:
A Personal Project
Baltimore based photographer, Glenford Nunez has photographed models from various backgrounds with a certain spark and essence that he feels drawn to and he captures their spirits in his dynamic portraits, putting emphasis on, not only their hair, but their light, attitude and unique styles for his personal project 'The Coiffure Project'
A Family Shoot
The Simple Portrait Project (TSPP) challenge is to photograph 100 families in 100 different ways using only one light, one prop, no descriptive backdrop and 30 minute sessions. Check out these creative familiy shoots for some inspiration.
Some Help with Lighting
Photo hobbyist and blogger, Pat David has created 3D renderings of lighting patterns to help him position his lights when shooting, AND he's been kind enough to share them. A great reference for your studio shoots – thanks, Pat!
