GPP 2012 Special Events

In addition to the 50+ workshops and seminars during the GPP 2012 week from March 5th to the 10th, we will also be hosting a number of Special Events - they are FREE but you'll need to register to secure your space:

FujiFilm X-Pro1 Middle East Launch Event with Zack Arias

We're delighted to announce that FujiFilm Middle East will be launching the highly anticipated X-Pro1 model and lenses system at GPP 2012.

Zack Arias will deliver a keynote presentation and a live demo shoot at the Auditorium on Tuesday, March 6 and all attendees will enter into a raffle to win exciting FujiFilm X cameras.

Entry is limited on a first come, first serve basis and is FREE but you need to register.

The Apple iPad - The Photographer's Best Friend

The iPad has many merits but particularly for photographers can be an invaluable tool for showing off work to potential clients, researching for assignments and more importantly as a tool during a photographers workflow to organise, preview and even edit images during and after a shoot.

Join Steve Simon, Drew Gurian and Toufic Araman during this 90minute session where they will discuss how they use the iPad in their photography work. They will talk about apps they use and Drew will also do a quick live demo of how he uses the iPad in a workflow process when shooting with Joe McNally.

The event is FREE to attend but you must Register and spaces are limited.

GPP2012 Shoot Out | Sat, Mar 10, 2012

The third shoot-out is back on for the GPP2012 event and will be held on Saturday, March 10th at 6:30pm at the Dubai Knowledge Village Auditorium. Entrance is FREE but be on time to save your seat.

Three of the visiting photographers, David Hobby, Greg Heisler and Martin Prihoda will battle it out against each other to produce a single photograph within 15minutes including editing time. The subject(s) of the shoot-out will only be revealed at the event and the photographers will be able to use any combination of ambient and artficial light but only within the confines of the Knowledge Village Auditorium.
