Best of The Web November 2011

We have scoured the world wild web for bits and bites we think you will like.  Find out more below!

The pictures in this collection are vintage gems put together by the good folks at howtobearetronaut.com.  Most of them will make you wonder what on earth was happening when the picture was taken, other will just make you laugh out loud.

Take a look for yourself on the web.

Next in line, Heinz Maier has a phenomenal series of images shooting water droplets at high speed.  Take a look at the last shot, showing behind the scenes how he has pulled it off.  You will be shocked to learn that Maier only started taking photographs less than one year ago!

See the series at thisiscolossal.com here.

We are not done just yet.  Here are some great shots of  work by camouflage artist Lui Bolin blending in with his surroundings.  Wouldn't this be a helpful skill for the day you boss stomps through the office on a rampage?

To check it out, follow the link.

And finally, we leave you with something to meditate on: Peter Seidler shows a collection of images depicting "Before and After" shots of people during their month long meditation retreat.  Can you see a transformation?
